MSENG - Large Scale Research Projects Title

Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC, Montreal):

Principal advisor for a successful $100 million request (total project $250 million) to the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Research Hospital Fund (RHF) towards the building and equipment of the “Centre for Translational Biology” and a large-scale clinical research unit “Centre for Innovative Medicine” to be located on the Glen Campus, Montreal.

Ontario Cancer Research Institute (OICR, Toronto):

Strategic Advisor - Financial reporting system, 5-Yr Strategic Development Plan & Budget, management structure, and the initial commercialization strategy.

PrioNet (University of British Columbia, Vancouver):

Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) $35 million over 5 yrs - lead consultant for the management structure, partnerships, knowledge translation, budget and mid-term renewal package.

Genome Canada International Consortium Initiative CARTaGENE:

with the project team developed the initial plan for a $30 million longitudinal genomics, phenotype cohort project in Quebec.

Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI):

since 1998 project manager for over 30 proposals relating to building infrastructure and equipment with a total combined secured value of $200 million from the CFI.

Genome Quebec/ Canada Projects:

since 2000, project manager or lead consultant for requests with total combined value of $50 million for large-scale multi-institutional genomics projects.
